WebMux Introduction Video
AVANU’s WebMux Network Traffic Manager, an enterprise-class server load balancing/ADC solution has an important role in the network infrastructure. Its functions are to manage, deliver securely, and reliably local data traffic for applications and services to and from the internal network of servers/server farms.
WebMux uses the 64-bit processor platform with intensive algorithms to provide the high capacity, reliability, and availability. In 2005, Microsoft chose WebMux as one of the first three hardware load balancer (HLB) to support its Unified Communications (UC) Office Live Communications Server (LCS) platform (today’s Skype for Business Server 2015) for its excellent features, performance, reliability, and affordability. It has evolved supporting many popular applications from other world-class companies including Cisco, IBM, and Oracle. The applications and services include Lync Server, Exchange Server, SharePoint, Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Serve, WebLogic, WebSphere, UC (unified messaging, IM presence, team collaboration, audio/web/video conferencing, mobility, and VoIP), databases, FTP, POP, terminal servers, and web servers to name a few.
The WebMux setup and configuration wizards are one of multiple options that lowers the complexity bar when setting up an enterprise-class load balancing/ADC solution for today’s sophisticated applications and services. The wizards remove the need for any scripting and make the deployment of WebMux quick and easy. Popular applications and services includes Microsoft Skype for Business Server, Lync Server, Exchange 2010 and 2013 Server, SharePoint, LiteScape, Pexip Infinity, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, terminal services, and HTTP/HTTPS servers.

Flexibility
WebMux is available as a hardware appliance for a ‘plug and run’ solution or Virtual software appliance designed for cloud computing environments.
The interface optimizes the use of smartphone and tablet mobile technologies that increases the WebMux management convenience and ease in today’s highly mobile work environment.
